It is not enough to provide more access to career and technical education courses to learners with disabilities. We must also implement strategies to increase their opportunities for success. Inclusion in general education is one of those opportunities and is a predictor of more positive post-school outcomes for students with disabilities. Magnolia High School is piloting a co-teaching program to address this need. Come and learn from a team of presenters who have collaborated to develop and implement a co-teaching model in an Agriculture course. Attendees will hear from the principal, special education supervisor, and CTE co-teachers about why they agreed to pilot this program, how they made it happen, and the experiences and outcomes they have had along the way.
